Best Coast Bonsai is a floral centre piece rental business that
implements both Japanese and Pacific Northwest aesthetics into its floral arrangements. The plant arrangements are known as 'Kusamono', loosely translated from Japanese, to mean 'grass thing'.
The Kusamono at Best Coast Bonsai use Pacific Northwest inspired plants such as ferns, perennials and mosses. The goal is to bring a taste of our beautiful British Columbia landscape indoors. Although they share a similar style, ultimately each Kusamono is different from the other one, as they are all individually hand made using a variety of natural accents, and plant species. They are constantly being maintained, and
renewed, resulting in a beautiful, natural, and just a little bit wild
floral centre piece. This makes the Kusamano a living piece that
constantly changes as it progresses through the seasons. Best Coast Bonsai Kusamono are reusable, sustainable, and most importantly, they only get better with age, just like a strong marriage would.
